What is Elite College Rentals?

Elite College Rentals is a leading provider of housing to college student at Cornell University and Ithaca College. With properties adjacent to both campuses, Elite College Rentals is typically students' first choice for off-campus living.

How do I pay rent?

Most residents at Elite College Rentals are required to pay rent through our tenant portal, which is managed via the Resident App. Please click here to find step-by-step instructions.

How do I set up electric and gas (i.e., NYSEG)?

NYSEG stands for the New York State & Electric Gas. This is the company most New York residents use to pay for their electric and gas consumption on a monthly basis. At Elite College Rentals, all of our buildings use NYSEG. As such, prior to move in, you are required to set up NYSEG billing to pay for your unit's electricity and gas. Rest assured; we have created this page to walk you through the ~5-minute process, and if you have any questions, we are always here to help.

Can I set up recurring payments?

Yes, our tenant portal (which is handled through the Resident App and can be set up by following these instructions) allows for tenants to set up automatic monthly payments. Most tenants use this option to avoid the hassle of manually paying rent each month, especially if a parent or guardian is assisting with rent payments.

Am I allowed to sublet my residence?

Yes, our tenants are allowed to sublet at all of our properties. While Elite College Rentals does not take on any legal liability in association with the facilitation of sublets or subleases, we do offer free marketing support via our website. Tenants who are looking to sublet for any reason (e.g., study abroad, early graduation, leave of absence) can fill out our Sublet Form, and their information will be added to our Sublet Webpage. Note: Elite College Rentals does not allow for lease takeovers.

When is recycling day?

Recycling day is based on your specific address and is publicly available. To find out which day is recycling day for your residence, please check here.

How do trash tags work?

Trash and waste tags must be used to dispose of garbage. To find out more about these tags, please refer to the City of Ithaca website here.



In addition to rent, what fees will I have to pay?

Please find a detailed list of fees by address here. These fees will either be paid directly to us at signing or to the relevant entity (e.g., NYSEG, City of Ithaca) on that entity's timeline.
